About

Want to know a little more about me?

I've been running my family's marina every summer for almost all of my working years. In 1980, my dad bought a little boat shack nestled on the shores of Brome Lake in Quebec’s Eastern Townships. Since then, we’ve transformed that shack into the busiest restaurant in the area. I spend my summer managing a team of awesome humans while serving drinks in the sun and working alongside my dad. Oh, and I get to teach yoga on the docks!

My mom was a kindergarten teacher for over 35 years and loved every moment of it until the day she retired. I spent lots of time in her classroom growing up and knew from the start that she was the best teacher in the whole wide world. When it was time for me to go to university I thought I would follow in my mom's footsteps but partway through my teaching degree, I realized that it wasn't going to be my path. In retrospect, I can see that it was definitely guidance from my gut that led me to make that decision! So, I ended up completing my degree in psychology and while I was doing that I volunteered with young adults who have special needs. This is where I found my calling; I ended up working with the special needs population for a couple of years and during that time that I took a course called Yoga for the Special Child.

The week-long intensive course changed my life. It brought me to the world of yoga in a way that felt really right for me. As I began teaching the special needs population and as well typical children I started feeling super passionate about making yoga accessible to all. So, for over 10 years I taught yoga to people of all ages and abilities and I loved it immensely.

But a couple of years ago the fire inside started to fade. I still loved teaching, but I didn't feel as lit up about it as I once did.

That’s when human design came into my life and taught me to listen to my gut.

So here I am: an alignment coach, human design reader, and yoga teacher! I'm truly embracing my manifesting-generator self by having my hands in a few different pots - and I absolutely love it.

Other fun facts about me are that I'm married to a real-life boat captain and we have a dog named Marley. In the summer of 2022 my world was flipped upside down when I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma. But thankfully because of all of the tools I have I’ve been able to land safely on my feet again.

Two of my core values are fun and connection and I truly believe we are never too old to make new friends. If you’re here visiting this site I would love for you to connect and say Hi!
